Revealing Breath II
(The foundation of creation)

This dance work is based on the sprit of Buddhist ceremonial dance. Through training in transforming mental intuition into physical movement, it aims to show how the inner world of a dancer is visualized and communicated to the audience.

The foundantion of creation begins from a lower level, where both body and soul of dancers are relaxed. through breathing the movement rises to a middle level. Finally, the dance ascend to a higher level, generating spiral movements, through which the inner power of the dancers is sent upwards embracing the sprits of the universe.

'Breathing II' makes full use of the dance methods inherent in the Korean traditional dance, and becomes a meaningful medium that paves for new ways of artistic dance, bringing forward creations of highly sophisticated quality.
